Moonlight Bliss

Hello.  Today I featuring another card using the Stampin' Up Moonlight DSP stack and the 2014-16 In Colors.  The sketch for this card is from Seize the Sketch.

I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the oval and then embossed it using the Stampin' Up Polka Dot TIEF.  This is a new embossing folder in the 2014-15 catalog and I love it.

The sentiment is again from the Geometrical stamp set.  It coordinates nicely with the chevron images in the background DSP.  The flowers were stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey using the Petite Petals stamp set.  The were embellished with a rhinestone in the center for some added bling.

Hope you enjoy my card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hey There

Just stopping by with a quick card today.  Creative Challenge Club is a new Sketch Challenge blog.  I thought their sketch this week was too cute and had to play along.  I combined that with the Tic Tac Toe challenge at The Paper Players.  I combined Ribbon, Patterned Paper and Embossing.

The Timeless Talk stamp set seemed like the perfect combination for the Back to Black DSP.  I love how all the images in the stamp set look when stamped with Jet Black Stazon Ink.

I replaced the floral image in the sketch for one of the word bubbles from the Just Sayin' stamp set perfect cut with the coordinating framelits.

Thanks for stopping by.

Moonlight Lagoon

Hello stampers!!  Happy Saturday.  I just can't believe how fast the summer is flying by.  It is the last weekend of June.  I have some new Stampin' Up product that I am going to be showcasing over the next few posts.  I will feature a couple of the new 2014-16 In Colors as well as the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.  For today's card, I was inspired by this sketch by Lesley Croghan over at Always Playing with Paper.
For the background, I chose four different prints from the Moonlight DSP stack that featured Lost Lagoon.  I layered them over Whisper White and a Lost Lagoon card base.

The sentiment is from the Geometrical stamp set.  I like the boldness of the font and how it coordinates with the DSP.  The vase and flowers are from the Pictogram Punches stamp set.  Finally, I added a Hello Honey bow and some jewel rhinestones on the flowers.

Hope you enjoy my card.  Thanks for stopping by.

DOstamper STARS Sketch Pad #088

Hello.  It is Thursday again.  Lately the weeks have just been flying by for me.  It is almost the end of June already.  I can't believe that the 4th of July is just around the corner.  Today we have a Sketch Pad Challenge.

This sketch can be used in so many ways.  It is a great sketch to feature Designer Series Paper as well as stamping.  For my card I am using a "new to me" stamp set - Sketched Birthday from the Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.  I stamped the balloon images using Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock.  I then heat embossed them using White Emboss Powder - I love the look!

The sentiment is stamped with Jet Black Stazon Ink.  The cupcake frosting is colored with Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker.

Color My World Happy

Greetings.  Welcome to this week's DOstamper STARS challenge.  This week we are playing with color.  These colors seemed so bright and cheerful, I thought a happy card was in order.

I used strips of paper from the Polka Dot Parade DSP collection to create my banners.  This DSP is now retired, but the Brights Background DSP Stack would be a good alternative.

The flower is from the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  I stamped the image with Jet Black Stazon on Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out using the Blossom Punch.  I added a Daffodil Delight candy dot to the center.

Hopefully this card brought a smile to your face.  Visit my fellow STARS for more inspiration.

Home Sweet Home Bling

Hello.  Welcome to another DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge.  This week is a Home Sweet Home challenge.  Isn't this a great necklace?  I love the floral design.  Of course, that is the inspiration for my card this week.

I used the Flower Shop stamp set stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  The first time I saw a demonstration of heat embossing was with gold embossing powder.  It is still amazing to watch the powder melt into sparkling gold.

I punched the Brushed Gold tag using the Tag Topper Scalloped Punch.  The sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts is heat embossed on vellum and layered under the Whisper White Organza Ribbon bow.

Thanks for stopping by.  Check out my fellow STARS for more inspiration.

DOstamper STARS #085

Hello!  Welcome to another DOstamper STARS Challenge.  This week is a Sketch Pad Challenge.  How exciting is it that the NEW 2014-15 Catalog is now live!!  My wish list is so long, at least I have a year to make my purchases.

Speaking of new product, check out this card.  I am featuring the Traveler stamp set.  This set features a lot of travel related images.  These images are also great for masculine cards.  I rotated the sketch.  The "water" is stamped using the Work of Art stamp set.  The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.  Check out my fellow STARS for more inspiration.
